River Wonders invites guests to celebrate the 100-day milestone of its capybara pup with It’s a Capy Celebration from 3 April to 3 May 2026. The month-long festivities feature a curated trail, themed photo points, lively enrichment activities and keeper talks – perfect for learning about the world’s largest rodent while making memories along the way. 

Meet the star of the celebration – a male pup born to parents Muniek and Luna – at Amazonia Encounters. During scheduled enrichment sessions, the capybara family will enjoy specially crafted items such as an ice cake and woven fire hose reels filled with treats, while keepers share insights into the animals’ unique behaviours and how they are cared for. The excitement continues with the Capy Crew Trail where guests can pick up a Capy Fan Card, discover fun facts at each checkpoint, and stand to redeem a limited-edition capy handphone strap and a refreshing Ribena slushie upon completing the trail. Capture moments of the journey at various themed photo points around the park.

Guests can also spot other members of the capy crew such as Lester and Dexter during the Once Upon a River presentation, and along the Amazon River Quest boat ride. To add some friendly competition, fans are invited to participate in a social media contest (Instagram, Facebook or Tiktok) by posting a photo or video of any of the capybaras at River Wonders in their cutest, quirkiest moment, and sharing the name of their favourite. Six lucky winners will walk away with an admission ticket to River Wonders, an exclusive Capybara Zookeeper for a Day experience and Hello from the Wild: Capybara interaction.
