Running from 22 August to 6 September, the Festival Village comes alive with inspiration from objects and motifs in the Peranakan Museum, to transform Armenian Street into a contemporary island setting of art, conversations, and collaboration. Visitors can enjoy a range of free and ticketed experiences, from outdoor installations, to live performances and more, with highlights including:

Skygazers: Dreaming into the Past and Future: Inspired by an archival photograph of four nyonyas, Space Objekt and Reza Hasni present an interactive light installation featuring a face gazing skyward, adorned with Peranakan patterns and motifs.

Isle Be Listening: Step into a sanctuary where sacred artefacts guide visitors on a personal journey of reflection, offering moments of discovery, messages of comfort, and shared healing.

Golden Sunset Way: A bustling marketplace blending Arab and Peranakan influences. Explore perfumes, accessories, delicacies, and clothing, alongside inventive dishes such as Peranakan-Arabian fusion fare and savoury gelato.

Sunset Groove: Live performances that bring the pulse of island rhythms to shore, with local acts including The Samrah Club, rhyu, Gunong Sayang Association, and New Stream Brass Band.

Community Voices x Paradise Island: In partnership with Arab Network @ Singapore (AN@S), discover the heritage of the Arab Peranakans through performances, activities, and storytelling, presented alongside the Peranakan Museum’s signature programme.
