On behalf of Sony Singapore, Sony Thermo Technology Inc. announced today the release of its latest wearable cooling and warming device, the REON POCKET 5. The fifth-generation model of the REON POCKET series, this new model will be launched for the first time in Singapore.

Similar to its predecessors, the REON POCKET 5 (RNPK-5T) is designed to be worn at the back of the neck, directly cooling or warming the body surface at the contact area, notable upgrades. These upgrades include greater heat absorption, improved cooling performance and a longer running life.

The launch of the REON POCKET 5 follows the resounding success of the REON POCKET 4 in Japan and Hong Kong. In Japan, 10,000 units were sold within three days of launch and were completely sold out after three months. Similarly, Hong Kong saw the REON POCKET 4 sell out within the same timeframe after its launch.

Beyond Singapore, the new REON POCKET 5 is available in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Japan and Hong Kong.

Availability

The new REON POCKET 5 will be available exclusively in Singapore at Sony Stores (both online and offline) starting 6 May 2024, at a recommended retail price of $249.

Customers can also pre-order the REON POCKET 5 from 23 April to 5 May 2024. Additionally, My Sony Members will enjoy a $20 discount during the pre-order period.
