Mammals premieres every Sunday, from 7th April at 8:00pm on BBC Earth, available on StarHub channel 407, Singtel channel 203 and BBC Player. Series key art, episode images and press pack available here.

Presented by Sir David Attenborough, Mammals explores this most successful and most loved animal group ever – uncovering the secrets to their success in conquering the Earth with their winning design, incredible adaptability, unrivalled intelligence and unique sociability.

After the reign of the dinosaurs ended 66 million years ago, mammals found themselves free to exploit every corner of the planet and take advantage of every major environment.

They are now found in every ocean, and on every continent, from frozen wildernesses, dense jungles, baking deserts, even the dark depths of the open ocean and the skies above our forests.

Making a cameo in this series is also a particular Singapore wildlife more iconic than our Merlion – our Smooth-coated Otters who have made their home in our waterways. The series follows the most daring family that has learnt how to cross busy highways in the bustling heart of the city, but in a busy city centre it’s also easy to become separated from the family.

Above all, this six-part series celebrates the amazing intelligence that enables mammals to learn, remember, problem-solve, parent, and co-operate.

Lending their star power in support of Mammals, Coldplay has reworked their hit song ‘Paradise’ for the series’ extended trailer, interwoven with the composed Mammals score and bespoke recording of an orchestra. Watch the official trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8lIOQgzbJI

Don’t miss Singapore and our local otters’ feature in Mammals, which will premiere on Sundays, from 7th April at 8:00pm on BBC Earth, available on StarHub channel 407, Singtel channel 203 and BBC Player.
